Introducing Ziva!

Thanks to Peggy L. for providing the great name for this girl! Ziva was "found" and turned in to an animal shelter a little north of NYC. She is approximately 1 year old, still a little gangly and silly and hasnt quite grown into her body. She also LOVEs her tennis ball and is extremely active and LOVES her tennis ball and is very confident and friendly - oh yea and she LOVES her tennis ball! Now that she has spent a couple days at my house I have a much better idea why she might have been given up from a pet home - it's like having a toddler on crack in the house! Even Calix rolls his eyes at her and is like "will you just relax and chill". LOL.

Lucky for her, the shelter staff realized that this was NOT a dog that would be happy in a pet home and sent out some inquiries for potential working homes for her. If things go well Ziva will begin training as a detection dog and all her drive and energy can be channeled into forces of good (finding things) rather than bad (running through my house with the pillow off my bed).
